Ever committed to diversity, Dr. Raquell Holmes will chair a Diversity Panel at SC15 through the Students@SC event series.

The core is the same, but each workshop is different. The Professional Presentations workshops make use of improvisation to build a group context in which scientists can explore, stretch and develop their presentation voice. Mia Anderson of Mia Anderson Consulting worked with Holmes to develop this workshop for the Harvard graduate students.  "Each person has their own style. We're working to develop who that person is," says Mia Anderson.

As part of the All Stars Project's UX program, a set of diverse scientists will share about who they are, where they come from, and how they will were moved to study science. Dr. Raquell Holmes and UX students will also explore how the scientists' relate their work to the greater world. Come hear their stories, Saturday, October 24, at the All Stars Project headquarters in New York from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m

improvscience returns to Arizona State University to improve participants' capacity to mentor students from diverse backgrounds. Funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation through the S.A. Levin Mathematical Computational Modeling Sciences Center to advance mentoring of diverse research teams.
