Creating Conversations in STEM Classrooms

The Creating Conversations in STEM Classrooms workshop prepares instructors in the use of new modes of delivery that require a different approach to teaching. As education evolves to include innovative student-centered methods, instructors benefit from learning interactive and integrative strategies.

This workshop develops participants' ability to foster science discussion and communication with and among students. Holmes and Gross introduce principles and practices of improvisation in tandem specific lessons and teaching situations in STEM classrooms.

  • Improve listening to facilitate discussion
