Excerpts from LIvE: The Living Improv Experiment

improvscience created the Living Improv Experiment, or LIVE, to explore what it's like for scientists to improvise -- and be improvised about. You can now watch clips of the event online!

After the audience was led through improvisational games, volunteer scientists from the audience sat with Raquell Holmes and discussed their field of study and why they work in it. The LIVE troupe, a set of scientists, then improvised characters from each participant's life. Watch as Bill Withers introduces himself and his research. Two players then performed as a collaborator and a waiter familiar with Bill.  Also, Bill's college friend and then his mother spoke on stage.

This fun, interactive evening brought joy and open discussion to a group of scientists. If you would like to see a LIVE event in your community, contact us
