Science Conversations at All Stars UX in New York

Date:
Saturday, August 13, 2016

Scientists come from a diverse set of sensibilities, backgrounds and experiences. Many aspire to a culture of inclusion and equity. Yet have few opportunities to participate in conversations that build new relationships between themselves, science and poor communities and communities of color.

If you've wanted your life and work as a scientist to be part of a broad inclusive community, join Dr. Raquell Holmes, founder and director of improvscience, in Performing Science Conversations at UX. Holmes uses improvisation with scientists and those interested in science to create learning ensembles: groups of people capable of asking interesting, philosophical and scientific questions together. Come join in the experiment.

Dr. Holmes is the Head of Science at All Stars UX. She invites you to join her in the class she's leading this summer in New York City through the All Stars Project UX, Performing Science Conversations. This exciting discussion takes place, August 13. Have fun performing as a scientist! No scientific background needed!
