Yumnah Syed-Swift

Administrative Director

Yumnah Syed-Swift, LCSW, serves as Administrative Director for improvscience. As the daughter of a scientist with years of community building and activism through art under her belt, Yumnah firmly believes in the power of storytelling as a means of connection, growth, and collective liberation. Yumnah has many years of administrative experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors.

Yumnah holds degrees in Communications and a Masters of Social Work. She runs her own private therapy practice along with supporting improvscience’s administrative needs. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys, reading, and painting.
