Freedom, Liberation and Independence - Creative & Emotional Playground

Freedom, Liberation and Independence - Creative & Emotional Playground

Explore and play together as we creatively and emotionally discover what freedom and independence mean to us.

As part of the Freedom Festival, members of our monthly Creative & Emotional Playground invite you to join us for a special workshop to explore, perform and celebrate freedom and independence.

Every month we share, respond to each other, and create with all of our varied histories, identities, stories and emotional responses to living in a world where the norm is crisis. In this emergent and playful workshop, we will use theater, improvisation, performance, movement, and philosophical questioning to build an ensemble of active change-makers.

Let's creatively and emotionally explore what it means for people in America and internationally to come together to explore and celebrate freedom from slavery and our ability to collectively self-organize.

All people have an experience of what freedom and independence mean to them. Through this festival, we want to create OUR experience of liberation.
