"We Cannot Look Away Anymore*: an anti-racism book group shares our process * from Resmaa Menakem’s My Grandmother’s Hands "

We are ten psychotherapists, spread across the US (and one in China), who spent the three years of the pandemic reading and discussing ten anti-racism books. We made a safe container so we could share personal attempts, successes and failures at being good allies to African Americans, Asians and other BIPOC (Black & Indigenous People of Color). We invite festival attendees to join us on Zoom as we share what we have learned and what each of us is working on with regard to dismantling systemic racism. We will then invite your questions about our process as a unique and dedicated book club.
